The Pilot Trucking School training provides a basic knowledge of over the road driving. The training is structured so that the driving time will enable the trainees to develop the basic skills necessary for progression into the externship phase of the training. The externship provides the trainee the opportunity to experience the knowledge and proficiency for the real world hands on situations that can be simulated, for example: interstate and international transit. Weigh stations guidelines, trip planning and various cargo handling and reporting.
